Django taggit não está instalando - python, django, django-taggit

Eu estou tentando instalar o django-taggit, mas estou recebendo este erro de traceback:

Eu já tentei atualizar o setuptools com:

easy_install-2.7 -U setuptools

Respostas:

Você não tem os privilégios necessários para instalar o pacote (especialmente para criar esse diretório).

Ou use root ou (muito melhor) tente virtualenv
